Deburring, Radiusing & Finishing

 

Optima are continually investing in state of the art equipment, we have been working with Ellesco for suitable methods of deburring of vertical slag and burrs, and graining of sheet and components:

 

We have now installed a finishing line, which comprises of a 22series grainer and a 42 series for radiussing, deburring and finishing

 

TIME SAVER 22 SERIES

  • 900 mm working width (max)
  • 1-125mm material thickness (thinner with care)
  • Digital readout with “dial-in” thickness setting
  • Variable through feed conveyor speed 2.5-14m/min
  • Single abrasive belt

 

TIMESAVER 42 SERIES

  • 350 mm working width (max)
  • 1-100 mm material thickness (thinner with care)
  • Digital readout with “dial-in” thickness setting
  • Variable through feed conveyor speed 0.5-8 m/min
  • Vacuum table with automatic clean-down cycle
  • Single abrasive belt with 11kW main motor (6-17 m/sec abrasive speed)
  • Automatic abrasive belt oscillation and tracking
  • 8 Brush spindles (c.320 – 930 rpm)
  • ‘Carousel’ mounting of brush assembly (5 rpm)
